This site serves as an outlet as self-expression to vent my thoughts and feelings mostly surrounding my disorder. I choose to write in third person which I feel is important to me. The website name reflects how I feel often, my disorder acting as my doppelganger a version of my own self acting as me. In early years of therapy my therapist noticed that I often referred to myself and experiences in third person, a realization that I didn’t make a connection to until she had pointed it out.
As for me, I’m a daughter, a sister and sista, a mother, a wife, an educator, a Christian, a friend, and so many other things, but those listed are the ones that resonate with me most.
